South Wichita is struggling. We need to move in a new direction with new leadership.

As a 30-year resident of the 3rd district I've watched as South Wichita has slowly faded from a safe, bustling community to the struggling district we're all familiar with today. We need someone to represent us on the city council who will stand up to the big money interests and demand action that will help our district.

My roots run deep in South Wichita

My family has lived in Wichita since my grandparents moved here in the '60s. Their story is that of many Kansans, a working-class family looking for well paying jobs they could raise a family on. My Grandfather grew up on the farm during the depression, served honorably in the Korean war, and later worked the line at Boeing until his retirement, and my Grandmother worked as a nurse for Via Christi for over 40 years. They were founding members of St. Anne's, the same church I was baptized and married in. They taught my generation the value of hard work and service to the community, and the morals they instilled guide me to this day.

As a small businessman, little league coach, and advocate for various causes, I've seen firsthand the needs of the community from various viewpoints. I love my city, my district, my home, and will continue to fight to turn around the status quo we've been conditioned to accept.
